On May 26, Bucheon Industry Promotion Agency announced an agreement with the Korea Cosmetic Industry Institute to enhance the cosmetics and beauty industry in Bucheon. This partnership aims to strengthen the competitiveness of the rapidly growing K-beauty sector by improving product quality and export capacity of local companies.
According to the agency, the agreement involves collaborative efforts in strengthening technical capabilities, exchanging information, and expanding business channels for export support. The Korea Cosmetic Industry Institute, established in 2010, focuses on enhancing the international competitiveness of the cosmetic industry and improving public health.
Director Shin Dong-hak of the Bucheon Industry Promotion Agency emphasized that through this collaboration, both institutions aim to lead in strengthening the technical and export competitiveness of the cosmetics and beauty industry, thereby contributing to the regional economy. Director Cho Shin-haeng of the Korea Cosmetic Industry Institute expressed hopes that this cooperation will enhance the technical expertise and market reach of Bucheon’s cosmetics firms and promised continued collaboration in the future.
